Travel Day(s)

 We made it! It's midnight in Rome and we are safe in our loft villa. Pics of that tomorrow in the sunshine.

It's been a wild and sometimes stressful 22 hours but all is well. More on Norse Air (boo!!) tomorrow too.

We got to London

but

it took so long to get off the plane, get bags, find a place to buy a European SIM card and charge my phone, we didn't have time to leave the airport and explore. But we had our first English beers

and a delicious dinner in the airport, with very reasonable prices. Then we got on plane #2 (Easy Jet, a lot like JetBlue) and headed over the English Channel,

over the Alps,

and into Italy as the sun set.

Quickly got through Passports, Customs, and baggage and got a cab into the heart of Rome.

Tomorrow we'll start exploring. More then. Ciao!
